Peter Olive - ceo
After a long career in IT in Australia and Europe Peter set up Vortex 6 in 2009.

Having worked closely with Cisco for 20 years he has almost unrivalled experience in understanding what they, their partners and customers need to make themselves more profitable.

Peter says, “More than anything I want our clients to value their relationship with Vortex 6 and know they will get service and services unmatched by any of our competitors. Our goal is make our customers business more effective and profitable through having the appropriate tools to drive their business forward”.

We will continue to develop our software and education products to enhance customer and partner engagement with Cisco.

Peter has a grown up family with two sons who live in Sydney. When he’s not working he enjoys watching football, motor racing and enjoying the finer things in life. Any spare time in between is spent fixing his 1969 Daimler which seems to spend more time off the road than on.
Samantha Whitty - Finance Director
Samantha joined Vortex 6 in February 2014 as the Finance Manager and in February 2015 she was delighted to accept the opportunity to join the board as Finance Director. Samantha oversees all areas of the finance team and provides support to the management team and Board of Directors.

Samantha is a CIMA qualified accountant who has over 15 years of experience. She has worked in varying roles in diverse industries from fashion, construction and technology. She enjoys the wide range of experiences and opportunities that come with working for a SME.
Andy Wilson - Head of Sales
Andy has over 30 years' experience in the IT industry encompassing technical, training, recruitment, sales and business leadership roles. He cut his teeth as an instructor with Prime Computer, designing and delivering courses in operating systems and data communications.

As Country Manager for Hewlett Packard's Education business, Andy grew revenues to $20m and established their first and only residential training centre. He pioneered the development of HP's first worldwide virtual laboratory datacentre based in the UK.

Andy subsequently became European Sales Director for Forum Corporation, a global company offering Sales, Leadership and Customer Service management development programmes prior to establishing Percipio IT Ltd. He joined Vortex6 Ltd in January 2015 to grow the business across Europe.

Andy holds the ITIL V2 Manager and ITIL V3 Expert certificates, is an ITIL certified trainer and a former Fellow of the Institute of IT Training.
Martin Cheetham - Head of Software Services
Martin joined Vortex 6 in 2013. A Physics graduate with a passion and thirst for knowledge, he is responsible for all Fusion related activities including maintenance, support and development. He is Vortex 6’s leading expert on the Cisco Channel Partner Program and is 100% committed to helping Cisco partners get the most from their Cisco relationship.

In his spare time, Martin enjoys Skiing, Cycling, Walking – pretty much anything that will provide a beautiful view! When not outdoors, he is always buried in a good sci-fi book or film.
Sherington Gaskin - Small Cell and strategic projects
Sherington has been with Vortex 6 since May 2014. His previous experience includes: Telecommunications regulation, operations and legislation from a number of roles within Ofcom. Including; representing the UK in various European planning and enforcement groups. He has worked in Mobile and Telecommunications infrastructure management and procurement in the commercial sector and led innovation projects centred on the Connected Home and Car.

A sun lover, sporting enthusiast and outdoors type - if the weather is warm! Sherington enjoys Travelling, Football, Basketball, Rugby and reading a good book on a beach below the equator.
Yogesh Ramloll - Operations & Projects
Yogesh joined V6 in August 2015, having had multi-departmental exposure working for companies such as Sytner Group (JLR division) and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. He now manages Operations for Vortex 6.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, bowling, the occasional game of badminton and catching a comedy, horror or action movie at the cinema.
david parry - chairman
David has worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years. Until his retirement he was Divisional Director of Finance and Planning at Nationwide Building Society. He was a key member of the senior team that developed the modern mutality strategy which has been so successful in making the society the second largest mortgage and savings institution in the UK with assets in excess of £200bn. He was instrumental in setting up a number of subsidiaries at Nationwide broadening its operational scope and reach.

During his career he was seconded to Government to develop ways in which the private sector could work with the public sector to bring economic vitality to deprived areas in the UK. This gave him opportunities to forge contacts in US and Europe as well as central and local government in the UK.

David brings to Vortex 6 a wealth of experience in management, finance and business development. Technology has been a vital tool in all his business dealings and he is committed to working with the senior management team to make the company a great success with the objective of positioning Vortex 6 as the UK's first choice provider of technical IT training.
