Peter Olive - Managing Director and founder
Having worked closely with Cisco for 15 years he has almost unrivalled experience in understanding what they, their partners and customers need in skill development programs. Peter’s aim for the company is to base its services on innovation, creativity, reliability, flexibility and high quality. The team behind Peter has deep knowledge of everything Cisco and is able to deliver everything from standard training to more complex and major projects. Peter says, “More than anything I want our clients to value their relationship with Vortex 6 and know they will get service and services unmatched by any of our competitors. Our goal is make our customers business more effective and profitable though having the appropriate skills to drive their business forward. We will also continue to develop tools and products that enhance customers and partners engagement with Cisco. I have a superb team behind me whose knowledge and expertise is the best in the industry." Peter has a grown up family and when he’s not working he enjoys watching football, motor racing and his son’s American Football team. Any spare time in between is spent walking in places like the Lake District and the French Alps or fixing his 1969 Daimler which seems to spend more time off the road than on. Over the past 12 years Cassian has built up an unrivalled network of relationships of key people within the industry and this enables him to develop programs and solutions for our customers and vendor partners that others may deem to be unachievable. As well as looking after business development Cassian is responsible for the delivery aspects of our Cisco business and has a strong team reporting into him. He is also a shareholder in the business and a member of the Board of Directors Cassian says, “We have a very focussed team at Vortex 6 who all contribute to the strong working relationships we have with our clients and vendors. My emphasis for the business is to make sure we always deliver what we say we will and to search out the best of breed services and to ensure we stay ahead of the technology curve. I believe in offering the flexibility our clients need to allow them to maintain competitive advantage and maximise their return on investment. We will always aim to surpass my clients' expectations and recognise the individual requirements of different clients to build long term mutual beneficial relationships.” In his spare time Cassian loves indulging in his passion for motor racing and riding his Honda Fireblade motorbike. kat wass - marketing and client services manager
Her knowledge of the technology, how to deliver the training and how to work with the vendors is unequalled. She gives our clients access to knowledge and solutions that will ensure they have access to the latest in technology training. Over the past 2 years Kat has worked hard on building her knowledge of marketing and is the person responsible for developing the great new web site you are currently visiting. She is the font of all knowledge when it comes to Cisco, their technology, certification programs and how to work with them. Kat says, “In the current climate it is important that we look at innovative ways to get our clients and partners the skills and tools that enable them to develop their businesses. The days of selling standard training are over for a lot of our clients and we pride ourselves in looking at more cost effective and efficient solutions that reduce the burden on their business yet prepare them for all the new technologies that are emerging. During his career he was seconded to Government to develop ways in which the private sector could work with the public sector to bring economic vitality to deprived areas in the UK. This gave him opportunities to forge contacts in US and Europe as well as central and local government in the UK. David brings to Vortex 6 a wealth of experience in management, finance and business development. Technology has been a vital tool in all his business dealings and he is committed to working with the senior management team to make the company a great success with the objective of positioning Vortex 6 as the UK's first choice provider of technical IT training. |
